Textbooks and Lab Materials

In order to keep tuition and fees as low as possible, required textbooks and course materials costs are excluded. Students will be given a list of textbooks/materials required for each course of their assigned curriculum, which may be purchased from a local bookstore.

Employer Educational Assistance

College of America will work closely with employers who provide Employer Educational Assistance. While students remain responsible for tuition costs, the College will defer the payment of tuition from eligible employees if the employer’s tuition assistance plan for a term, including a student payment of at least 10% of the tuition for a term, is presented in writing to the College of America Financial Assistance Office.

Work-Study Scholarships

Work-study scholarships for services rendered to College of America may be available on a need basis, as determined by the administration of College of America, to students with valid and verifiable financial need. These students are required to maintain a “C” (“2.0” GPA) or better overall average.

Tuition Payment Plan

Application Fee payment must accompany the application upon submission. Tuition is payable in advance or on the following basis: students are required to pay tuition for one course prior to the start of the semester.
The remaining balance (if more than one course is taken) is due in two equal payments: (1) at the conclusion of one-half of the grading period and (2) the other payment at the conclusion of three quarters of the grading period. There are no interest charges for the tuition payment plan.

Financial Aid

We maintain special agreements with private institutions to offer unique payment plans options for those who qualify.
